Speaker series: "E-commerce Today" wraps up |

The Enablers workgroup held a speaker series event entitled "eCommerce Today"Yesterday, October 18,2007 at the Wackwack golf club, the enablers workgroup held a session regarding eCommerce and its past, present and future trends. A mix of local and foreign implemented concepts were presented as standards used worldwide. The different offerings also varied to suite a variety of companies from big to small. Although the possibilities of these solutions are abound, the success and benefits from such lies with the business to embrace and own.
A total of four speakers from around the globe shared their ideas and concepts to a mix of experienced and new entrants into the ECR movement. The EXCOM will be reviewing the survey forms handed out at this event to prepare for another speaker series. So far, this event is the second of two speaker series sessions. |

Grocer’s Central Alliance and Unilever Philippines
On-Shelf Availability is a major issue faced by suppliers and retailers these days.
No amount of investment on promotions and in-store displays will propel growth if the products are not on shelf.
With this in mind, Unilever and GROCENT , a group of 56 medium to small sized independent supermarkets, embarked on a project that improved its supply chain process.
